Line and finish on the wall with fluted trim
This trim is used on walls, not floors; its places of use are interior walls, the shower wall and the backsplash. As a finishing piece it can separate two tile areas, close off the edge of the cladding or draw a horizontal line along the wall. Similar pieces are on the borders and accessories page, and for the kitchen on the backsplash options page.
Installing the 2 cm thick fluted piece
The weight per square meter is 52.61 kg and a single piece is 2.42 kg; make sure the wall substrate can carry this load. About 21.6 pieces fit in one square meter; add the cutting allowance separately. White adhesive prevents discoloration on light-colored stone. Since marble is porous, sealer is applied and refreshed at intervals; prefer a pH-neutral product for cleaning.
