A finishing line on the wall with fluted trim
The trim separates two tiled areas from each other or closes off the edge of the cladding, creating a line on the wall. The interior walls of homes and workplaces, the shower wall and the kitchen backsplash behind the countertop are where this piece is used. It is not laid on the floor but used on the wall; it is not recommended outdoors either. Other finishing pieces are on the borders and trims page.
Trims per meter and care
Since the long side is 30.5 cm, 3.3 pieces go into each meter of line; leave a waste allowance for corners and cuts. The weight per square meter is 52.61 kg and a single piece is 2.42 kg; the wall must be able to bear this load. In natural marble, tone and veining differ in every piece; mixing the pieces as you lay them balances the distribution. The porous surface is protected with sealer, and the protection is renewed over time. Acidic products damage marble; use a pH-neutral cleaner for cleaning. Honed options are on the honed surfaces page.
