Mosaic in 37.5 cm sheets: shower and bathroom
The sheets can be used on bathroom floors and walls, shower floors and backsplashes; they are also laid on the indoor floors and walls of commercial spaces. On a shower floor the dense grout joints help with grip; the honed surface is not as slippery as polished marble when wet. Because it contains many grout joints, the choice of grout color noticeably changes the look of the surface. Other mosaics are on the marble mosaics page, and matte stones on the honed finish page.
Sheet calculation, dry layout and protection
One sheet covers an area of 0.14 m²; there are 7.1 sheets per square meter; buy extra sheets for edge and corner cuts. The weight per square meter is 25.58 kg. In natural stone, the tones of the pieces vary; mix the sheets and dry-lay them first. After installation a protective sealer is applied and repeated at intervals; cleaning is done with a pH-neutral product.
