Black Autumn Leaf mosaic outdoors
Autumn Leaf mosaic is used outdoors on floors and walls, and indoors on floors, walls and backsplashes. The shower floor is not a recommended place for this mosaic. On outdoor floors, providing a slope so that water runs off extends the life of the sheets. Outdoor options are among the outdoor tiles, products in the same material on the limestone products page, and those for the kitchen in the backsplash category.
Sheet calculation and care for Autumn Leaf
10.7 sheets are needed per 1 m²; a cutting allowance is added separately. Because the grout lines in the mosaic are dense, the color of the grout determines the appearance of the black surface. Limestone is a porous material; sealer is applied to Autumn Leaf sheets used outdoors, and the protection is renewed over time. Because it is sensitive to acids, care is taken with lemon and vinegar on the backsplash, and a pH-neutral product is used for cleaning.
