Product Description
Avalon Honed Marble Tile 10x30.5 cm is a narrow rectangular marble with beveled edges. Gray veins run scattered across the white ground; on some pieces the veining concentrates, on others it almost disappears. The unpolished honed surface does not reflect much light, and the fine scratches that form over time are also less noticeable on this matte ground than on a polished surface.

Shower floors and backsplashes with 10x30.5 cm Avalon
The tile, 10 cm wide and 30.5 cm long, can be laid in straight rows, offset by half its length or in a herringbone pattern. The small bevel on the edge accentuates the grout line. This size is also used on the base of the shower tray; when wet, honed marble is less slippery than polished marble. In the bathroom it is laid on both floors and walls; other options are on the marble tiles for the bathroom page.
Quantity and mixed laying for Avalon 10x30.5
Around 32.8 tiles make up one square meter; go above this number for corner and edge cuts. Since each tile's veining is different, mixing the boxes and dry-laying first balances the distribution. If white adhesive is applied beneath this white-ground stone, there is no discoloration on the surface. Other sizes are in the marble tile collection.
