Hexagon Bardiglio on a shower floor
Hexagon Bardiglio is used on shower floors, shower walls, backsplashes and on indoor floors and walls. On the shower floor, the dense grout between the hexagons helps the foot grip. The weight per square meter of this semi-polished sheet is 24.55 kg. Bathroom options are in bathroom tiles and mosaics, other shapes on the mosaic varieties page.
12.9 sheets for hexagon Bardiglio
12.9 hexagon sheets are needed per square meter; add a waste allowance as there will be cuts at the edges. Since hexagons create many grout joints, the color of the grout determines the look of the floor. As there are tone differences between sheets, dry laying and mixing them first balances the distribution. Since marble is porous, it is protected with sealer, and this protection is renewed over time. Acidic products such as limescale removers leave marks on the Bardiglio surface; a pH-neutral cleaner is preferred.
