Bardiglio strip mosaic in a shower and on a kitchen wall
Bardiglio straight lay is used on shower floors and walls, on kitchen backsplashes and on indoor floors and walls. Since the 15x75 mm strips are laid in straight rows within the sheet, parallel lines form on the surface. On the shower floor, the dense grout helps grip. Other patterns are in mosaic patterns, kitchen ones on the backsplash page.
Grout color and quantity for Bardiglio straight lay
A square meter is completed with 13.2 sheets; a cutting allowance is added separately. Since there is a lot of grout between the thin strips, the grout color directly determines the result. Tone differences are a feature of natural stone; if the Bardiglio sheets are mixed during dry laying, light and dark strips spread evenly over the area. The pores of marble call for a protective sealer; in the shower, a pH-neutral product is used instead of acidic limescale removers.
