Product Description
Bianco Dolomiti Honed Hexagon Marble Mosaic 50 mm comes as square sheets in which white marble hexagons are arranged in a honeycomb pattern. Some pieces show fine honey-colored and gray veins, while most are almost plain white. The honed surface gives a matte finish that reflects little light.

Shower floor and kitchen wall with honeycomb mosaic
The hexagon sheets can be used on shower floors, shower walls and kitchen backsplashes; they are also laid on the floors of commercial spaces. The dense joints of the honeycomb pattern help with grip on wet floors. The matte finish is less slippery than polished stone when wet and also shows scratches and wear marks less. Other stones with a matte finish are on the honed stones page, and different piece shapes on the mosaic varieties page.
Quantities and grout selection for hexagon sheets
1 m² takes about 10.7 sheets; buy a few extra sheets for cutting and waste. The sheet weight is 2.21 kg, and the weight per square meter is 23.75 kg. In this type of mosaic, grout color noticeably changes the look. Lay the sheets in mixed order to spread the natural stone's tone variation across the area. Apply sealer after installation; stay away from limescale removers and acidic cleaners.
