Calacatta Ambra Polished Marble Siena Basin 45×55×20 cm

Faucet holes ready, body fluted, surface mirror-bright. Calacatta Ambra Polished Marble Siena Sinkturns natural marble with amber veins on a cream base into a form that is both functional and decorative. The dimensions of the sink are 45 × 55 × 20 cm; its rear deck has three faucet holes suitable for a three-hole deck-mounted faucet.

The shimmer of golden tones

Calacatta Ambra is known for its base swaying between white and cream and its fine veins in warm amber and gold tones. The polished finish brings these veins to life, increases the brightness of the base and reflects light back into the room. Especially in bathrooms that receive daylight, the surface takes on different tones throughout the day. Since each sink comes from a separate block, the course of the veins and the intensity of the color vary from piece to piece; this is the signature of natural stone.

Siena at a glance

• All outer surfaces are worked with vertical fluting.
• All four corners are rounded; the flutes wrap the body without interruption.
• The rear deck has three faucet holes; the faucet is mounted directly on the sink.
• The drain hole is in the center of the base.
• Carved from a single piece of natural marble and finished by hand in Türkiye.

The 20 cm height creates a large surface area where the polished flutes play with light. Each flute looks like a shiny line and gives the sink a layered, architectural effect.

Ease of installation and decor suggestions

Since the faucet sits on the sink, you can install it without drilling the countertop or planning a wall-mounted faucet. Among three-hole deck-mounted faucets there is a wide choice, from classic cross-handle models to slim, modern designs; you can choose according to the language of your bathroom.

Brushed gold, brass or polished chrome fixtures and light wood, cream lacquer or travertine countertops form a harmonious whole with this sink. It works as a sophisticated touch in a classic master bathroom and as a warm accent in a simple modern bathroom.

The faucet mounted on the rear deck leaves free space on the countertop in front of and beside the sink. This frees up room for a soap dish, toothbrush cup or small tray, especially on narrow countertops. The polished Calacatta Ambra surface also softly reflects the objects around it, giving the bathroom a layered depth. When you place the sink under an illuminated mirror, the reflected light noticeably enhances the shimmer of the flutes. Using two Sienas side by side on a double-sink countertop also creates a symmetrical look reminiscent of hotel bathrooms; since the veins of each piece differ, this symmetry never becomes monotonous. The space left between the two sinks also makes a nice stage for a shared tray or a plant.

Ways to protect the polish

The most sensitive point of polished marble is acids. Lemon, vinegar, some cosmetic products and limescale removers can cause dull spots on the surface; wipe off such contact immediately. Drying the water that collects around the faucet prevents marks from forming around the faucet holes. Regular care with a pH-neutral cleaner and a soft microfiber cloth preserves the shine for a long time. Don't forget to remove the soap left between the flutes with a soft brush.
