Strip marble on the backsplash and shower wall
The strip tile is used on the kitchen backsplash, on the shower wall in the bathroom and on indoor floors; it is not recommended for shower floors. The narrow, long size can be laid in a straight, offset or herringbone pattern. The beveled edges accentuate the grout line between rows. Other tiles for the kitchen wall are in the backsplash tiles group; other stones are listed under natural stone tiles.
Quantity for strip tile: 43.1 pieces per square meter
One square meter of the strip tile equals 43.1 pieces; add the allowance for cuts and waste separately. The weight per square meter is 43.48 kg; on a wall the substrate must carry this weight. Since each piece will have a slightly different tone, work by mixing the boxes. The stone is sensitive to acids such as vinegar and lemon juice; sealer is applied to the porous surface, and a pH-neutral product is chosen for cleaning.
