Shower floor with white hexagon mosaic
Shower floors, shower walls and kitchen backsplashes are where this hexagon mosaic is used; residential and commercial indoor floors and walls are also included. On a wet floor, the dense grout joints help grip, and the honed matte surface is also less slippery than polished. Since it comes in sheets, the 50 mm pieces are not placed one by one.
Quantity and grout for honeycomb-pattern mosaic
2.2 kg per sheet; the weight per square meter is 23.6 kg, and 10.7 sheets are needed for 1 m². Since the hexagons will be cut at the edges, a waste allowance is added to the quantity. In this type of mosaic, the grout color noticeably affects the look. Using white adhesive prevents discoloration in light-colored marble. Mosaic stone is porous; sealer is applied, and acidic cleaners are not used.
