Grooved marble trim: backsplash and shower wall
It is a trim made for walls and is not used on floors; it is used on backsplashes, shower walls and the interior walls of residential and commercial spaces. As a trim it draws a line between two tile areas and completes the edge where the cladding ends. Other trims and borders are on the accessories and finishing pieces page, and options for the bathroom on the bathroom page.
Linear meter calculation for 15.2x30.5 cm trim
If it will be used as a band, think in meters: 3.3 of the 30.5 cm pieces fit in one meter. About 21.6 pieces go into a square meter; a substrate that can carry the 52.61 kg weight per square meter is required. On white stone, white adhesive as well prevents discoloration. Apply sealer and renew it over time; for cleaning, stay away from acidic products and use a pH-neutral cleaner. Since it is natural stone, lay out the pieces that will sit side by side in advance and check the tone match.
