Border on the backsplash with Calacatta Green trim
The trim is a wall product, not for floors. In homes and commercial premises it goes on interior walls, on the shower wall, and in the kitchen behind the countertop. As a border it separates two tile areas or finishes the edge of the cladding, creating a distinct line on the wall. For backsplashes see the kitchen backsplash tiles page, and for other pieces the borders and accessories page.
Meter and area calculation for Calacatta Green trim
If used as a strip, 3.3 trims are enough for each meter; if an entire wall is to be covered with this piece, 21.6 pieces are needed per square meter. Because of the 52.61 kg/m² weight, care is taken in area cladding that the wall can carry this weight. Since it is natural marble, the veining differs in each trim. Marble is sensitive to acids such as lemon and vinegar; a pH-neutral cleaner is used on the backsplash.
