Using pill mosaic in the shower and kitchen
Shower floors, shower walls, kitchen backsplashes and indoor floors and walls are where this mosaic is used. Since the grout joints in mosaic are dense, grip on the wet floor increases. The matte surface of the honed finish is also less slippery when wet than polished marble. Shower options are among the shower tiles, and similar products are on the marble mosaics page.
Sheet calculation and grout for pill mosaic
10.7 sheets are needed for each square meter; leave an extra allowance for cutting. Because of the many grout lines between the pieces, the color of the grout noticeably affects the look. Since the tone of marble can vary from sheet to sheet, first spreading the sheets on the floor and mixing them balances the distribution. Sealer is applied to the porous stone after installation. Acidic cleaners such as descalers can leave marks on marble; a pH-neutral product is used for shower cleaning.
