Product Description

Carrara Polished Beveled Hexagon Marble Mosaic 50 mm is a mosaic in which white and gray hexagonal pieces are arranged on 26 x 29.8 cm sheets. Some of the pieces are light and some a darker gray; fine gray veins can be made out in some. The glossy surface reflects light and makes this tonal difference more pronounced.

Glossy hexagon mosaic: shower, bathroom and backsplash

It is used on bathroom floors and walls, shower floors, backsplashes and commercial indoor floors. Polished pieces can be slippery when wet, while in the shower the frequent grout joints help with grip. Mosaic contains many grout joints; the grout color chosen noticeably affects the look. Other mosaics are on the mosaic collection page.

Sheet calculation and care of the polished surface

Approximately 12.9 sheets are needed for 1 m²; buy extra sheets for edge cuts. A sheet weighs 2.41 kg, the weight per square meter is 30.47 kg. Since the tonal difference is pronounced, mix the sheets and dry-lay them. Acid marks are more easily noticed on a glossy surface; marble is sensitive to lemon and vinegar, so use a pH-neutral cleaner and renew the sealer at intervals.
