Round mosaic: from backsplashes to outdoor walls
This mosaic is used indoors on the floors and walls of homes and workplaces, on kitchen backsplashes, and outdoors on floors and walls; it is not recommended for shower floors. Outdoors, a slope that lets water run off and good drainage protect the stone for longer. For kitchen walls, see the backsplash claddings page, and for open areas, the outdoor page.
Grout and sheet count for circle mosaic
About 12.1 sheets are needed per 1 m²; a cutting allowance is added. Since the circular pieces leave plenty of grout on the sheet, the grout color changes the overall tone of the surface in this mosaic. As the stone is porous, a sealer should be applied after installation and the protection refreshed at certain intervals. When wiping, choose a pH-neutral rather than an acidic cleaner. Similar sheets are in the mosaic collection.
