Shower walls and indoor floors with rectangular marble
It is used on indoor floors and walls, shower walls and residential floors without heavy foot traffic; its use on the shower floor is not recommended. The 30.5 x 61 cm rectangular tile can be laid straight or offset by half a length. On floors, the benefit of the honed finish is that it does not show scratches and wear marks as much as a polished surface. Similar products for walls are on the wall tiles page, and other stones for floors and walls on the natural stone tiles page.
Piece count and care for the 30.5x61 cm tile
Approximately 5.4 tiles cover one square meter; don't forget to add the cutting allowance. Since the stone is light-colored, the choice of adhesive matters: white adhesive prevents discoloration. Before laying, mix tiles from different boxes and lay them out on the floor. After sealing, choose a pH-neutral product for cleaning; vinegar, lemon and limescale removers damage marble.
