Lined 30x60 Champagne on floors and countertops
Residential countertops are one of the places this tile is used; in the kitchen it is also applied as a backsplash. Bathroom floors and walls, shower walls, and floors and walls of residential and commercial interiors are the other places. Use of Champagne on the shower floor is not recommended. The 60 cm side reduces the number of grout joints; a flat subfloor and a full adhesive bed are required. See the floor tiles page for floors, the bathroom marble tiles page for bathrooms, and the marble collection page for other stones.
Protection and dry-laying for Champagne marble
Since marble is porous, a sealer is applied to Champagne tiles after laying, and the protection is renewed over time. It is sensitive to acids; lemon and vinegar splashing onto kitchen surfaces such as countertops and backsplashes can leave marks, so a pH-neutral cleaner is used. Tone and texture vary from piece to piece; dry-lay by mixing the pieces before laying. The rectangular tile is laid straight or offset. Leave an allowance for cuts when ordering.
