Indoor floors and shower walls with limestone
Limestone can be used on indoor floors and walls in residential and commercial spaces, as well as on shower walls; it is not recommended for the shower floor. The 30.5 x 61 cm pieces are laid in straight rows or offset by half a length. Other limestones are in limestone tiles, and options for floors in floor tiles.
Sealer and cleaning for white limestone
5.4 tiles go into one square meter; add the cutting allowance separately. On light-colored stone, white adhesive prevents the color of the substrate from showing through. Limestone is a porous stone; a sealer is applied after laying and renewed over time. Since it is sensitive to acids, a pH-neutral cleaner should be used instead of lemon, vinegar and limescale removers. Small tonal differences between pieces are balanced by spreading the tiles on the floor and mixing them before they are bonded.
