Shower floor and backsplash with hexagon mosaic
The mosaic can be used on shower floors and walls, on backsplashes and on indoor floors of residential and commercial spaces. The frequent grout joints between the hexagonal pieces help with grip on a wet shower floor. When wet, the honed finish is less slippery than polished marble, and compared to polished it shows scratches and wear less. Other hexagons are in mosaic options, and products for the shower are in shower floor and wall.
Quantity and grout for hexagon sheets
One square meter takes about 10.7 sheets; order a few extra sheets for edge cuts. The weight per square meter is 25.88 kg. In a mosaic, the grout color noticeably affects the result. Since the stone tones vary from piece to piece, lay the sheets in mixed order. Apply a sealer and renew it over time, and use a pH-neutral cleaner; acids such as lemon and vinegar affect marble.
