Honed marble in herringbone and offset layouts
It can be laid straight, offset or in herringbone. The shower floor and wall and the bathroom are the wet areas where this narrow tile is laid; backsplashes and indoor floors are also included. The honed surface reflects little light; when wet it slips less than a polished surface, and it also shows scratches and wear marks less.
Piece count and protection for slim rectangular marble
32.8 pieces are calculated per 1 m²; the weight per piece is 0.84 kg and the weight per square meter is 27 kg. The order quantity is increased slightly for cutting and waste allowance. Since the stone's tone changes from piece to piece, the boxes are mixed and a dry lay is done. Slim marble tiles to be used on shower floors require sealer because they are porous; this protection is renewed at intervals. Acidic cleaners damage the stone; a pH-neutral product is sufficient.
