Product Description
Glacier Honed Marble Tile 40.6x40.6 cm is a square marble with a white background and gray veins that darken in places; its thickness is 1.2 cm. The direction and density of the veins vary from tile to tile. The beveled edges mark the border of each tile with a fine grout line. Its surface is honed, that is, matte; it does not reflect light as much as polished stone.

This tile is laid on bathroom floors and walls, on shower floors and shower walls, and on the kitchen backsplash. The floors and walls of residential and commercial indoor spaces are also among its places of use. On the shower floor, the advantage of the honed surface is that it is less slippery than polished marble when wet. Quantity and dry layout for Glacier 40.6
Before you start laying, mix the tiles and spread them out on the floor; a dry layout balances tone and vein differences. About 6.1 tiles go into each square meter; waste is added to this when ordering. For white marble, white adhesive is chosen instead of gray mortar, so the color of the stone does not change. Because the stone is porous, sealer is applied after laying and renewed over time. Acids such as lemon and vinegar can leave marks on marble, so cleaning is done with a pH-neutral product.
