White terracotta on the shower wall
Its areas of use are limited to walls: the shower wall, backsplash, and interior walls of residential and commercial buildings. It is not laid on floors and is not recommended for outdoor use either. In a straight layout, the square form leaves joints aligned in two directions. On the shower wall and behind the countertop, splashed water is easily wiped off the glossy surface.
Care of glossy terracotta wall tiles
Weighing 18 kg per square meter, this tile requires 43.3 pieces per 1 m²; a few extra pieces are bought for corner and edge cuts. A one-meter horizontal row comes to 6.6 tiles. Among terracotta tiles made of fired clay, matte and unglazed types are porous and require sealer; the glossy surface of this tile, however, wipes clean easily, and soap marks are removed with a damp cloth.
