Glossy terracotta tile on the backsplash
Kitchen backsplashes, shower walls and indoor wall cladding in residential and commercial spaces are where this tile is used. It is not used on floors; it is a wall tile and is not recommended for outdoor use either. When the straight-cut tiles are laid in a straight pattern, the joints align in both directions. It is not used on shower floors.
Quantity and cleaning for small square terracotta
43.3 tiles are calculated per 1 m², and the weight per square meter is 18 kg. A few tiles need to be added to the quantity for edge cuts and waste. For a horizontal strip such as a backsplash, 6.6 tiles are calculated per 1 meter. Terracotta is fired clay; this glossy-surface tile is easy to clean, and oil and water splashed onto the backsplash are removed with a damp cloth.
