Product Description
Iris Black Polished Marble Tile 30x60 cm is a marble with white veins spread like a web across a dark gray-black background. Since the polished surface reflects light, the white lines stand out clearly against the dark background. The tile is 2 cm thick, a single piece weighs 10 kg, and the edges are straight cut.

Dark polished marble: floor, wall, countertop
It is used on bathroom floors and walls, on kitchen countertops and backsplashes, and on indoor floors; in the shower it is used only on the wall, and use on the shower floor is not recommended. With a 60 cm long side, the tile counts as large format: it reduces grout joints and requires a level substrate and a full adhesive bed. Since the polished surface can be slippery when wet, this should be kept in mind on bathroom floors. Other options are on the bathroom tiles and polished marbles pages.
Acid marks on a glossy dark surface
Approximately 5.6 pieces are needed per square meter; a cutting allowance is added separately. On the glossy surface of polished Iris Black, marks left by lemon or vinegar are more noticeable than on a matte surface. Cleaning is done with a pH-neutral, acid-free product. The weight of 55.56 kg/m² requires a sturdy supporting surface for wall installation. Sealing is renewed over time. The series and similar products are in the marble collection.
