Using Marsa limestone mosaic outdoors
This mosaic is also used on outdoor floors and walls; outdoors, giving the correct slope and drainage extends the life of the stone. Indoors, the floors and walls of homes and workplaces and the kitchen backsplash are among its applications. The shower floor is not a recommended place for this mosaic. Outdoor products are on the outdoor stones page.
Sealing and cleaning limestone mosaic
Since limestone is a natural material, the tone of each piece turns out different; dry-lay the sheets by mixing them. As it is a porous stone, sealer is applied, and this protection is renewed over time. Limestone is affected by acid; choose a neutral product instead of cleaners containing lemon, vinegar or limescale remover. Since a mosaic has a large number of joints, the choice of grout color noticeably affects the look. The stone's weight per square meter is around 27 kg. Do not forget to add a cutting and waste allowance to your order. Other limestone products are in the limestone collection.
