Indoor and outdoor floors with Octavia Gray mosaic
Floors and walls inside homes and businesses, the shower floor and wall, and the kitchen backsplash are the places for this mosaic; outdoor floors and walls are also covered. If it is to be applied in an open area, sloping the floor and draining the water protects the stone for a long time. On wet floors, the dense grout lines help the foot grip. Other options for the shower are on the shower floor tiles page.
Quantity calculation and cleaning for Octavia Gray
Approximately 12.5 sheets are needed per square meter, because each sheet covers 0.08 m²; add a cutting allowance to this. A single sheet weighs 1.94 kg. In natural marble, the color and speckle density vary from piece to piece; laying the sheets mixed balances the distribution. The porous surface is protected with sealer, and the protection is refreshed over time. Use a neutral cleaner instead of limescale remover, lemon or vinegar. Because there are many grout lines in a mosaic, the choice of grout color noticeably changes the look of the surface. Other mosaics are on the mosaic page.
