Where to use the Ruffle marble mosaic
Shower floors and walls, the area behind kitchen countertops, and the indoor floors and walls of homes and commercial spaces are where this mosaic is used. The matte surface is less slippery than polished stone when wet, and the frequent joints of the mosaic also help with grip on shower floors. It is not recommended for outdoor applications. Other options for kitchen walls are on the backsplash products page.
Quantity, grout and protection for 16.43 cm pieces
Since each sheet covers 0.03 m², about 37 sheets are needed per square meter; a cutting allowance is added separately. One square meter of mosaic weighs 27 kg. The grout color has a pronounced effect on the mosaic surface. With this mosaic in the white color group, applying white adhesive to the back prevents the stone's color from changing. The tone of natural marble is not the same in every piece, so dry lay the sheets before installing them. As marble is porous, a sealer is applied and this is repeated over time. Marble is affected by acid; choose a pH-neutral product for cleaning. Other mosaic models are here.
