Tumbled Seashell mosaic outdoors
Unlike the Seashell tiles, this mosaic is also laid on outdoor floors; outdoor walls are also among its applications. Indoor floors, walls and kitchen backsplashes are covered as well. Use of the Seashell mosaic on shower floors is not recommended. On outdoor floors, the mosaic lasts longer if a slope and drainage are provided for water to run off. Outdoor options are among the outdoor stones, products with the same texture are on the tumbled surfaces page, and the full range of the material is in the limestone category.
Sealing the open-pored Seashell mosaic
For an area of one square meter, 10.7 sheets are ordered; a cutting allowance is added separately. Since the pores of tumbled limestone are open, sealing is an important step for this mosaic; on sheets used outdoors, the protection is renewed over time. As the sheet has many grout lines, the grout color directly affects the appearance of the beige squares. Limestone is affected by lemon, vinegar and limescale remover; choose a pH-neutral cleaner for care.
