Gray herringbone mosaic on shower floors and backsplashes
Shower floors and walls, backsplashes, and indoor floors and walls in homes and commercial spaces are the applications of this mosaic. On shower floors, the frequent joints left by the long, narrow pieces make it easier to grip on a wet floor; matte honed marble is also not as slippery as glossy stone when wet. Since the mosaic has many joints, the grout color determines how pronounced the herringbone lines will appear. Other models are on the backsplash mosaics page.
Sheet calculation for herringbone mosaic
About 10.7 sheets are needed per square meter; set aside extra sheets for edge cuts. Marble is porous; it is protected with a sealer, and this protection is refreshed over time. Clean with a pH-neutral product instead of an acidic cleaner. As the tone of natural stone can vary from sheet to sheet, install the sheets mixed. The weight per square meter is 26.62 kg.
