Gray limestone mosaic indoors and outdoors
This mosaic is used on indoor floors and walls of homes and workplaces, as a backsplash, and on floors and walls outdoors; it is not recommended for shower floors. If the stone is to be laid outdoors, the floor should be sloped and drainage provided; this extends the service life of the stone. Open-air applications are on the outdoor stone cladding page, and worn surfaces on the tumbled page.
Sealer for tumbled limestone
About 12.1 sheets are needed for 1 m²; set aside extra sheets for the edges. The pores of tumbled limestone are open, which is why sealer is important, and it is renewed at certain intervals. Limestone is affected by acid; lemon, vinegar or limescale remover leaves marks on the surface, so pH-neutral products are used when cleaning Thala Gray. Since there are plenty of grout joints between the circular pieces, the grout color determines the tone of the mosaic. Other limestones are in the limestone collection.
