Product Description
Vanilla Honed Marble Tile 12x28 cm is a rectangle with long, narrow proportions. The stone is light cream in tone, with faint gray veins here and there. The edges are straight cut and the thickness is 1.2 cm; the surface is honed, meaning matte.

Herringbone or staggered layout with the 12x28 cm size
Thanks to its long, narrow proportions, this tile can be laid in a herringbone pattern as well as in straight and staggered layouts. Shower floors and walls, bathroom floors and walls, and kitchen backsplashes are among the places for this tile. In commercial spaces and homes, it covers indoor floors and walls. On a wet floor, the honed surface is less slippery than polished stone. It is not recommended for outdoor cladding. Similar options are on the shower coverings and floor tiles pages.
Piece calculation and protection for small Vanilla tiles
Each piece covers 0.03 m²; calculated from the 12x28 cm size, about 29.8 pieces are needed per 1 m². Add a waste allowance to the order for cuts at wall and floor edges. As it is natural stone, the tones of the pieces differ slightly from one another; mixing boxes when laying prevents color islands. White adhesive is used with this light-toned marble too. Sealer is applied to the porous surface after installation. Marble is sensitive to acids; instead of limescale removers and vinegar-based cleaners, a pH-neutral product is enough. These rules also apply to all marble tiles.
