Product Description
Vanilla Honed Marble Tile 30.5x61 cm is a light cream-gray stone; its veins are very faint. With a long side of 61 cm, it falls into the large-format class and fewer grout joints form over the same area. The thickness is 1.2 cm; the beveled edges make the grout line more pronounced.

Long Vanilla slabs: from countertop to bathroom wall
Residential countertops and kitchen backsplashes are among the places this size is used. In the bathroom it is laid on floors and walls, in the shower only on walls; it also covers large floors in home and workplace interiors. It is not recommended for shower floors or the open air. The rectangular slab can be laid in straight rows or offset by half. Other products for wall applications are on the wall tiles page.
Subfloor and adhesive for 61 cm marble
One slab covers 0.19 m², meaning about 5.4 slabs are needed per 1 m²; add a waste allowance for cuts at corners and wall bases. Large-format tile requires a flat subfloor and a full adhesive bed covering the entire back of the slab. Since the weight per square meter is 31.77 kg, the substrate must bear this load for slabs going on the wall. To keep the cream-gray tone intact, apply white adhesive on the back. Scratches that form over time on the honed surface are less noticeable than on a polished stone. Sealer is used for protection and a pH-neutral product for cleaning. Other natural marble products require the same care.
