7x14 cm brick layout on backsplashes
Kitchen backsplashes and shower walls and floors are among the places this tile is laid. It is also used for indoor floor and wall covering in homes and commercial areas, and in residences it suits light-traffic floors. The rectangular form is suitable for straight or staggered layouts. It is not a product for outdoor use. Other options for the wall behind the countertop are on the backsplash tiles page.
More than a hundred tiles per square meter: ordering and care
Since one tile is about 0.01 m², 102 pieces are needed per 1 m²; do not forget the cutting allowance. The weight is 28.36 kg per square meter. Using white adhesive with light-toned marble prevents color showing through from below. Since it is natural stone, the tones of more than a hundred small pieces will not be identical; if you mix several boxes when laying, the dark and light pieces spread across the area. Marble is a porous stone; sealer is applied and renewed at regular intervals. For cleaning, use a pH-neutral detergent instead of acidic products. Other honed products are in the honed stone collection, and marble options on the marble page.
