Showers and backsplashes with thin stick mosaic
On shower floors, the large number of grout joints contributes to grip on a wet surface. Shower walls, the wall behind the kitchen countertop, and walls and floors in commercial and residential interiors are also among the places for this mosaic. It is not recommended for open areas such as terraces and gardens. Additional products for wet areas are on the shower coverings page, and for kitchens on the kitchen wall tiles page.
Grout and sealing for 15x75 mm sticks
At 0.09 m² per sheet, about 11 sheets are needed per square meter; the extra sheets purchased are for the cutting allowance. Since there are many grout joints, the grout color noticeably affects the lines formed by the sticks. White adhesive is applied behind the light cream stone. Since marble is porous, sealer is applied after installation and the protection is renewed over time. Acidic products can leave marks on the surface; choose neutral pH for cleaning. The honed finish makes scratches and wear less noticeable than a polished surface. Other models are among the mosaic products.
