White and black star pattern on bathroom floors
Bathroom floors and walls, shower floors and walls, and backsplashes are where this mosaic is used; indoor floors and walls in residential and commercial buildings are also covered with it. On shower floors, the honed white pieces are not as slippery as polished stone, and the mosaic's frequent grout joints also help with grip.
Grout and sealing for black and white stone
25 sheets are needed per square meter. The color of the grout separating the black stars from the white squares noticeably affects the look of this pattern. White adhesive is applied under the white pieces; this is how color change is prevented in light stone. Marble mosaic is porous; sealer is applied and refreshed over time. Black and white stone is wiped not with acidic products but with a pH-neutral cleaner; a few extra sheets are purchased for cuts at the edges.
