White terracotta on the wall: kitchen and shower
This terracotta is for vertical surfaces only: indoor walls of homes and workplaces, shower walls and backsplashes. It is not laid on floors. It is a tile produced not for the shower floor but for its wall: it is not recommended for shower floors. It is not recommended for outdoors either; the tile stays indoors. In the kitchen, the glossy surface is easy to wipe in backsplash cladding. Other fired clay tiles are in the terracotta tiles collection.
Care and quantity for glossy terracotta
Since coverage per tile is 0.02 m², about 43.3 tiles are calculated per square meter; buy extra tiles for pieces to be cut at wall edges and corners. The glossy face of fired clay is easy to clean; most of the time a damp cloth is enough. Wet area options are on the shower wall tiles page.
